Melanie graduated in 1997 in Ghent, Belgium. She worked then for two years at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Ghent at the Department of Internal Medicine for large Animals. She then traveled and worked in the UK, where she started working for Mr. Derek S. Price, the founder of the practice, in 1999.
In 2002, Melanie took over and renamed the practice Glenshane Veterinary Clinics. In 2004, the clinic moved from Bank Square to the new purpose built premises on the Ballynahone Road. Under Melanie's leadership, Glenshane Vets has since grown into a three branch practice. She loves every aspect of veterinary medicine be it pets, horses or farm animals. She enjoys any aspect of internal medicine in both companion animals as farm animals.
