Meghan joined the Glenshane farm team in 2025, having graduated from the University of Edinburgh in 2019. After 18 years living up and down the east of bonny Scotland — from Aberdeenshire to Berwickshire — she relocated to Northern Ireland following family feedback that she was “too far away.” The move brought her 183 miles closer to Connecticut — which, technically, counts.
Meghan has a particular interest in herd health, preventative medicine and surgery, and especially enjoys working with farmers. You may also find her on the small animal side from time to time. She enjoys the balance that mixed practice brings and has fully embraced one of Northern Ireland’s greatest logistical achievements: no matter where you’re going, it’s always 20 minutes away.
At home, a house full of dogs ensures she never truly switches off from veterinary life — whether she likes it or not. Outside of work, she enjoys cooking, watching rugby and making the most of countryside living.
